Cullum-Hollins left the Scottish agency he founded in 2023 earlier this month to build his social media presence. The move sees him join his Tales of a Travel Agent podcast co-host Becky Walker, who is already an established homeworker with Leicester-based agency, Club Voyages.
Cullum-Hollins has built a social media following of more than 150,000 in the past five months and plans to continue developing partnerships with travel brands alongside his work as a travel agent.
Club Voyages Founder and Managing Director Sam Ballard said: “We’re absolutely delighted Jake has chosen to join Club Voyages. He brings a huge amount of experience, having not only sold travel himself but built and run a successful homeworking business.
"What he’s achieved more recently through social media is also incredibly impressive and I think he’s demonstrated just how much opportunity there is for travel professionals who are prepared to do things differently.
“We’ve always wanted Club Voyages to be a place where ambitious agents can build their own businesses without feeling constrained by the company they work with."
He added: "Jake wants the freedom to develop his content career while continuing to sell travel and look after his clients, and our model gives him the flexibility to do exactly that. There’s also already a very natural connection through Becky and the podcast, so culturally it feels like a really good fit. We’re very excited to have him as part of the team.”
Cullum-Hollins added: “I’m very thankful to Sam and the team at Club Voyages for having me onboard, I knew a lot about the business from my Podcast Co-Host Becky Walker so it felt like a natural place for me to join to continue being able to sell holidays going forward."
Cullum-Hollins co-founded The Good Travel Agent with Rob Bryer and helped grow the homeworking business before announcing his departure this week. He is selling his shareholding to Bryer as part of a staged exit from the company.
Club Voyages was founded by former travel trade journalist Ballard in 2022 and specialises in luxury and tailor-made travel. The business operates high street agencies in Leicester and Leamington Spa alongside its network of self-employed travel consultants.
