The latest update means British travellers can once again travel to, and transit through, Aqaba International airport and seaport, although the Foreign Office continues to advise against all travel to within three kilometres of Jordan's border with Syria.
The country remains subject to regional security warnings, with the FCDO stressing the situation in the Middle East remains unpredictable. British nationals are advised to prepare for possible flight cancellations, periodic airspace closures and other travel disruption.
