Around 100 agents took part in the TTG survey, which showed more than half (52%) expect 2026 to “significantly” or “slightly” outperform the previous year, while another 26% anticipate business being on par year-on-year.
Only about 12% forecast a slight dip in sales. However, with persistent cost-of-living concerns, and with one respondent warning at the time that customers were “holding on to their money a little longer” before booking, TTG is now asking readers how their peaks sales are stacking up.
Could this be a bumper year for the trade? Have customers had enough of the wind and rain and are now looking for sunnier climes? And how do sales stack up against 2025 so far?
