Held in association with Seat Unique, the sector’s most coveted awards will return to London’s iconic Roundhouse on Wednesday 23 September.
Early-bird entries are now open until Friday 10 April with a final deadline for entries on 29 May before the finalists are announced in early June.
All travel agent categories and some Fairer Travel categories, including The John Hays Entrepreneur Award, are free to enter. Tickets are also now on sale.
Here's what's new for 2026:
Three new categories
- New Retail Agent of the Year – open to retail travel agents who have been selling travel for two years or less by 1 March 2026, including apprentices, trainees and career changers.
- New Home-Based Agent of the Year – open to agents who have been a home-based travel advisor for two years or less by 1 March 2026. They may have moved over from a high street store, call centre team or joined the industry as a career change.
- Destination for Change Award – replacing Tourist Board of the Year, this category is open to tourist boards and destination management organisations striving to create a more sustainable, responsible and inclusive visitor economy that supports both the tourists who visit and the communities they travel to.
Streamlined entry process
For the first time, Travel Industry Awards categories for 2026 will open at the same time, while entry forms for agent-judged supplier categories have also been slimmed down and streamlined.
Feedback for finalists
Whereas in previous years, Travel Industry Awards finalists had been able to request post-event feedback from our judges. But for 2026, all finalists will proactively be sent a TTG report after the ceremony to help improve and guide their future entries.
