When it comes to luxury travel, relationships count. From anticipating what your clients want before they even know themselves, to having operator partners you can completely rely on for your most discerning customers, creating exceptional escapes hinges on trust. For established luxury agents who require the very best holidays to wow their clients with – alongside the utmost in creativity, collaboration and service – Pure Luxury is a natural fit.
Marketing director Sarah Lancashire explains: “The close relationships we have in the ultra-luxury travel space are unmatched, and this, alongside our enviable portfolio, provide a number of opportunities for our agent partners to grow both their expertise and what they can offer clients. At Pure Luxury we have dedicated sales, operations, concierge, marketing and product teams who are all passionate, driven and always available to support with supplying the most creative itineraries, no matter how bespoke and imaginative.”
Tailoring the world
The trade-only operator has an impressive portfolio of products, including more than 100 hotel partners across the world. The Tailormade Escapes brochure launched in 2024 showcases how every holiday can be exclusive to the individual traveller. From sunrise tours of the Taj Mahal in India, to Vespa temple tours in Bangkok, and kayaking in one of the oldest river systems in the world at the Noosa Everglades, if your customers want it, Pure Luxury can make it happen.
As Lancashire explains: “No request is too big or small, as our luxury travel ambassadors have the tools, expertise and relationships to tailormake idyllic beach retreats, lively city breaks and adventures of discovery. In addition, our parent company allows us access to a curated ultra-luxury portfolio of hotels, resorts and experiences that our competitors find hard to equal.”
Strong relationships
Many agents speak to the same luxury travel ambassador each time they contact Pure Luxury, and with a combined 240 years of service in the travel industry, ambassadors build long-standing relationships with the agent partners they support.
Deben Travel has been working with Pure Luxury throughout manager Abigail Nunn’s 13 years at the travel agency, and the team relies on the operator for long-haul, predominately for couples. “We like Pure Luxury because they are a very experienced and well-travelled team,” Nunn explains. “As an agent we know we’re going to be looked after. We need an operator that’s giving the same to us as we give to our customer.”
One couple travelled to Africa and the Indian Ocean several times with Pure Luxury, and their most recent trip was a £120,000 booking to One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives.
“That’s a lot of money to entrust to somebody, and it just goes to show, we’ve got a lot of faith in Pure Luxury,” Nunn adds. “You need people you can rely on to give you good service, and we know with Pure Luxury that it’s being done properly.”
Specialised support
Growing relationships with agents and securing bookings for them as soon as possible are priorities for Pure Luxury. As a result, the percentage of the team working outside of typical office hours has increased, with out-of-hours bookings representing a large proportion of overall revenue. Pure Luxury classifies out-of-hours as 7pm to midnight Monday to Saturday, alongside Sundays. Agents can also visit the online Service Hub for support amending enquiries, requesting cancellations, correcting naming errors, refunds and more.
Nunn says: “Pure Luxury’s website is brilliant, because we can research ideas before we call up to book. The Service Hub is also great, because we can just send a quick note, and often within two hours everything is sorted. It’s so helpful, and it makes our life so much easier.”
