Luxury advisor Emily Grace is offering clients a complimentary wellness app membership, after noticing a lack of support for travellers after they have returned from their trip.
Launched by Georgie Spurling in March 2022, Arvra is a wellness platform that provides personalised care to individuals who wish to take more control of their general health.
Grace has now partnered with the app, which starts at £3.99 a month, to deliver ‘a complete wellness aftercare solution’ to her clients after they have completed their travel.
“My business [Emily Grace Travel] doesn’t stop with the retreat,” told TTG Luxury earlier this year. “A retreat is a great start, but wellness is a journey. I’m there throughout the year to support clients with their health journey until that next retreat.”
Currently, most hotels end communication about the guest’s wellness at check-out, with little to no follow-up until a return stay is booked. Arvra seeks to change that by collaborating with luxury hospitality suppliers, even inviting them to white label the app so that they can maintain brand awareness and integrate their own experts.
“We were surprised this type of tool didn’t exist before,” Grace admitted.
The concept is simple: clients of Emily Grace Travel are given complimentary access to Arvra, which allows them to continue the progress they have made after their stay and maintain contact with the property.
Using data shared with the hotel’s wellness team, the app also provides tailored recommendations that evolve as the guest engages with the platform.
If the hotel chooses to integrate their in-house wellness experts, guests can book one-on-one video consultations with the same specialists they worked with during their stay.
“These calls keep them accountable,” said Grace. “There are also around ten structured programmes that users can follow, each of which can be personalised to align with the work they did while at the hotel.”
Beyond the hotel-specific offerings, Arvra users also gain access to a network of more than 30 wellness professionals. This includes nutritionists, sports therapists, hormonal consultants, relationship coaches, and even financial advisors, all available for individual sessions through the platform.
“The continuity is reassuring for people,” added Grace. “People like to travel to new destinations which I understand but if they’re going as a health conscious traveller, continuity of care is really important.”
