A top agent secured a six-figure booking for a French rental villa – with just less than a month’s notice to plan.
In partnership with onefinestay, the luxury travel advisor worked diligently to organise a family holiday for seven nights with a strict set of criteria.
As well as specific dates in August, the client requested a luxury property in southern France that would offer privacy and enough space to host a party of 30 guests. The residence also needed to be fully staffed by daily housekeeping and catering, so that the family could remain on site for the entirety of the stay.
Speaking to TTG Luxury, onefinestay has now shared exclusive details of the VIP booking following its successful completion.
“From the outset, there was an urgency to propose a trip to the travel advisor and their client that would meet their needs while also proposing a villa and services that would be an exceptional experience.”
Taking into account the client’s requirements, the travel advisor and onefinestay agreed that one particular villa in its Saint Tropez collection would be the ideal choice. The Provencal-style residence offered abundant space with bedrooms spread across two floors, as well as a large outdoor swimming pool, an alfresco dining area and plenty of comfortable lounges. The master bedroom also had a private balcony overlooking the sea, while the fully-equipped kitchen was fitted with high-end appliances.
The villa had been personally approved by onefinestay’s destination specialist, who had visited the property on a recent fam trip. Not only did this trip enable them to speak authentically about the residence, but it also gave them the opportunity to take their own photos and videos to be shared with the client.
After securing the booking, it was time to prepare the residence for the guests. The advisor liaised with onefinestay’s concierge team to carry out a number of additional services, including housekeeping and food delivery.
One of the most important aspects was the catering, which was overseen by a Michelin-trained chef on six out of the seven days. The guests asked for gourmet cooked breakfasts, a continental spread to be set up in the garden and several bespoke three-course dinners. The staff also set up an open-air cinema by the pool one evening, followed by entertainment by string quartet and DJ.
Other special extras included a welcome basket of local olive oils, wines and soft drinks, as well as personalised gifts for each guest.
