In partnership with Cunard, The Queens of Rhythm will perform at TTG Luxury Travel Awards 2025 next month, bringing their soulful style to the stage of Raffles London at The OWO on 28 February.
To be held at the Whitehall hotel for a second year, the event will once again recognise exceptional individuals and businesses in the luxury travel industry.
As per tradition, guests will be treated to a champagne reception, a two-course vegetarian lunch and live entertainment.
New for this year will be an exclusive Winners’ Lunch for agents at Mauro’s Table – also at Raffles – featuring a five-course tasting menu and hosted by Grecotel later in March.
Following the positive feedback to Brixton Chamber Orchestra at last year’s ceremony, TTG Luxury will once again bring a high standard of entertainment to its almost sold-out awards.
Guests can expect a stellar show from The Queens of Rhythm, a vocal trio featuring Sophia Spotswood, Nakira Phillips and Emily Israel, and specialising in Soul, Motown and Disco with experience on cruise ships, television and corporate events.
The band will sing crowd-pleasing songs by the likes of Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner, complete with slick routines and stunning harmonies.
They will also be performing across Cunard’s fleet in 2025, with shows on Queen Mary 2 from 1-8 March and 12-19 November, Queen Anne from 5-11 May and 22-26 October, and Queen Victoria from 1-4 August.
Speaking about its overall entertainment offerings, Cunard said: “Entertainment comes in many forms onboard Cunard’s iconic ships, not least its West End-style theatre productions in the Royal Court Theatre.”
For the arrival of its latest vessel, Queen Anne, the luxury cruise line worked with West End and Broadway producer David Pugh to launch two new stage shows for the ship’s maiden season.
The first was an adaptation of Noel Coward’s Brief Encounter, directed by Emma Rice, which debuted on the inaugural cruise in the Royal Court Theatre.
The second show was the Olivier Award-winning Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of), a unique retelling of Jane Austen’s much-loved story, which launched on Queen Anne’s British Isles Festival Voyage – a two-week celebratory circumnavigation that included the ship’s naming ceremony – and then featured throughout the maiden season.
The Royal Court Theatre also hosts Insights Speaker talks, which sees notable guests lead exclusive seminars and Q&As about their illustrious careers.
