A luxury concierge service that gives agents access to tickets for sold-out events says it has “never let anyone down” since its launch.
Go Privilege was founded by Mark Hooper in 2019, after the former PGA golf professional noticed a gap in the market for events with elevated hospitality. Today, tapping into growing demand for key sporting fixtures and must-attend events, the company offers exclusive packages for everything from the Monaco Grand Prix to the Chelsea Flower Show, as well as popular concerts for acts like Beyonce, Oasis and Coldplay.
For agents, a key benefit of using a service like Go Privilege is the guaranteed access to event tickets – without having to join an exclusive concierge club.
“We’ve completed more than 16,000 bookings, and we’ve never let anyone down,” Hooper tells TTG Luxury. This success rate is largely due to Go Privilege’s extensive black book of industry contacts, which gives Hooper and his team priority access to in-demand tickets.
“If agents order tickets from us, they will get them,” he says. “One of the reasons we do so well with the trade is because agents know they’re safe with us.”
After drawing up the quote, Go Privilege will send a ‘white label’ booking to travel agents which they can, in turn, personalise with their own branding. Hooper’s team will also provide as many details about the event as possible, even including photos of the seats’ views and exact opening times.
“It’s about saving time for the agent, giving them exclusive information about an event, and making sure they retain their client,” he explains. “We know agents want to be able to quote their customers as quickly as they can, which is why we are super-responsive in our communication.”
Go Privilege will also offer to loop agents in with suppliers via email, should they require extra assurance about their tickets’ status.
The royal treatment continues at the event itself; all of Go Privilege’s functions are delivered with a VIP service. Whether it’s gourmet catering or exclusive views, each aspect of the event is enhanced and personalised to the clients’ preference.
“On arrival at the venue, they will be greeted by a drinks reception and gift packs,” Hooper says. “They will also be added to a WhatsApp group, which allows them to conveniently request everything from chauffeured cars to dinner reservations.”
Hooper says that this VIP concierge is especially important for clients attending large events overseas, which can be complex to navigate. He cites the Monaco Grand Prix as a key example, noting that travellers’ plans may be disrupted by the road closures that accompany the Formula 1 race.
“Getting to the facilities isn’t as easy as you’d think it is,” says Hooper. “But we’ve done these events so many times, and we know every route possible.”
Go Privilege has also invested in its culinary experiences for clients at Monaco, signing a three-year partnership with Yoshi, the city’s only Japanese Michelin-starred restaurant, earlier this year.
The collaboration will see Go Privilege take over the venue, which is located in The Metropole Hotel, for the entire racing weekend in May. Guests will enjoy first-class views of the Monte Carlo track from the Japanese Garden, as well as a full complimentary bar, a multi-course menu, and exclusive souvenirs and lanyards. Hooper is keen to add that adjustments can always be made to accommodate the clients of the agent, to ensure the experience is delivered to the highest standard possible.
“We treat agents as if they are our clients,” he says. “We know how important retaining a client is, and we will do everything we can for the agent to meet their expectations.”
