The all-new Top 20 Luxury Travel Agencies programme will recognise and shine a spotlight on the very best luxury travel retailers in the British Isles.

Inspired by the success of the Top 50 Travel Agencies by TTG and the TTG Luxury Travel Awards, the innovative new programme will focus solely on agencies, with 10 free-to-enter categories covering various business models and different areas of specialism from adventure travel to cruise.

The 20 agencies who make the coveted list will be revealed at the inaugural event on 12 November at Royal Lancaster London during a glittering evening ceremony, when guests will enjoy a celebratory welcome drinks reception, three-course dinner and uplifting entertainment.

One of the 10 category champions will also claim the ultimate title of UK & Ireland’s No. 1 Luxury Travel Agency 2025.

“We are delighted to launch this new awards programme focused exclusively on the luxury agent sector in the UK and Ireland, to celebrate the vast diversity and sheer brilliance of the sector, and to give those named in the Top 20 meaningful recognition of their service and expertise that helps them grow their business," said Daniel Pearce, TTG Media CEO.

Forming part of the new-look Day of Luxury on 12 November, the reveal of the Top 20 Luxury Travel Agencies winners will be combined with Luxpo, TTG Luxury’s popular one-to-one meetings event, set to take place at Royal Lancaster London during the day.

During Luxpo, sponsors of Top 20 Luxury Travel Agencies and other key suppliers will be able to engage with the very best agent partners, as only shortlisted agencies will be invited to attend. All shortlisted agencies receive one complimentary ticket to attend the awards in the evening.

Following on from the success of the Top 50 Insight Report, this new awards programme will see entrants’ anonymised information collated into a Top 20 Luxury Travel Agencies Insights Report, made available only to entrants and to event sponsors.

The report will contain benchmarking data on business performance as well as trends and innovation in marketing, responsible business, and building high-performance teams.

“We feel Day of Luxury is the perfect format – the co-location of a business-focused meetings event with a celebratory evening for the best of the best. And all against the backdrop of this elegant and centrally located hotel,” said April Hutchinson, editor and publisher of TTG Luxury.

“Top 20 Luxury Travel Agencies offers so many new opportunities,” she added. “It shines a light on professional standards in the sector; provides a new way of benchmarking for agencies in this space; and gives winners a tangible message to share with customers, that they have been independently chosen as being among the creme de la creme. At the same time, suppliers get an at-a-glance look at the agencies who are truly committed to running a high-touch, luxury-focused business.”

Nominations are now open, with a short first-stage entry form to be completed by 4 July. TTG editors will decide a shortlist of five agencies in each category, which will be revealed on 23 July. All finalists will then complete a more in-depth second-stage entry form and attend a 30-minute video judging call in September.

The TTG Luxury Travel Awards will return again in 2026, with categories for individual luxury travel designers (as opposed to entire agencies).
