D&G Travel director Darren Morris-Spruce created a pint-sized version of his agency after being kept away from his beloved office for six months due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The model, a 1:12 scale of one of D&G’s stores, took 10 days to build and features a number of intricate details showing life working in a travel agency – with a wall of tiny brochures, offer posters in the window and a laptop and card machine on the desk.
Jet2holidays brochures are wrapped in the same material the operator’s real printed programmes are delivered in and there’s even a mini copy of TTG.
“Anyone that knows me, knows how I am at work, and I have added a couple of hidden jokes, like the Nero’s coffee on my desk, the files under the desk along with the business cards that always seem to make their way onto the floor,” Morris-Spruce told TTG.
“I really enjoyed making it, it sits on my windowsill at home, so the business is never far from my thoughts. I’ve also been asked by a couple of people to make a miniature of their own office, so that is keeping me busy now.”
