Sopp will be responsible for "building new relationships across the travel distribution sphere", including OTA’s and in-destination partnerships.
She brings more than 13 years of industry knowledge to the B2B tours and attractions supplier as the company continues to reshape its management team, after it hired Neil Langdon as head of marketing, Kelly Hayre as head of trade sales and promoted Phillipa Standley to head of product.
Sopp has previously held senior roles with industry media outlets such as Arival, Tourpreneur, Tnooz (now Phocuswire) and Travel Technology Europe.
Attraction World chief executive Olly Nicholls said Sopp will be a "key part of the company’s future".
"Having known Ella for several years, I am delighted to bring her to Attraction World as we enter this new chapter," he continued.
"Ella was wanted by a number of companies in the space, and I’m glad we were able to convince her that the project we have here at Attraction World was the right move for her."
Sopp said she sees "limitless opportunities" for Attraction World’s growth.
"I’m delighted and eager to join the new era of the business which will further establish us as the World’s leading experience ecosystem," she added.
