On closing its financial year on 31 October, the adventure tour operator announced 2022/23 to be its biggest year of sales in its 42-year history, with every trade partner exceeding their individual targets.
It comes after Explore grew its trade team with the appointment of a business development manager last month.
Explore is currently advertising for an agency sales support executive to add more support to its growing travel agent community.
Meanwhile, the tour operator has launched its Unforgettable Adventures for 2024 brochure, showcasing its range of Classic Discovery, Walking and Cycling Adventures.
Prices for the eight-day Highlights of Kenya tour, which combines visits to meet the Maasai people and Lake Nakuru National Park, start from £2,995pp. The price does not include flights.
The 15-day India Tiger Safari with 13 safaris included in the price, leads in from £2,979, without flights.
Explore’s managing director Michael Edwards said: “It’s been a huge year for Explore – our biggest year of sales yet. We’ve also opened a new office in Australia, launched the Explore Foundation and won two sustainability awards.”
Agency sales manager Philippa Baines added: “Travel agents and customers alike love our brochures and we continue to produce them each year. Our new Unforgettable Adventures and Family Adventures for 2024 has an exciting new feel to it.”
