Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has extended its 25% discount offer to customers of failed All Leisure Group.
The deal, which was due to finish today (January 31), will now run until February 17.
Neil Herbert, head of sales at Fred Olsen told TTG earlier this month that the line had been "encouraged" by the number of ALG-affected clients who had shown interest in sailing with the company.
He added that Fred Olsen had already seen "several hundred" customers book.
To support rebookings, Fred Olsen said it had produced two “handy guides” to help agents compare its product offering with that of the defunct ALG brands Swan Hellenic and Voyages of Discovery and find alternative cruise for their customers.
The guides – each covering Swan Hellenic and Voyages of Discovery – show alternative cruise itineraries, detailing destinations and departure dates.
Herbert said: “When customers are affected by any business failing, it’s really upsetting for those concerned. It is also a very difficult time for travel agents, as they are expected to wave a magic wand and find an alternative holiday.
“With this in mind, we communicated our offer of help a few weeks back, and we have now produced two simple-to-read guides to help agents to find comparable, alternative cruises quickly and easily for those of their customers affected by the demise of All Leisure Group.”
