Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has put its first 2023 voyage on sale, including a maiden sailing of New York’s Hudson River.
The 34-night North American Waterways and Canadian Fall cruise will set sail from Southampton in September 2023.
It will visit a number of Canadian ports, including St John’s in Newfoundland and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Balmoral will then head to the US, where highlights will include a scenic sailing of the size-restricted Hudson River, as well as the Cape Cod Canal and Chesapeake and Delaware Canal in Baltimore.
Guests who book by 30 September 2020 will receive up to £300pp to spend on board.

“This will be the first time we have sailed to Canada since 2019, and we know it is a destination that our guests always enjoy visiting with us.”
Other ports of call for the voyage, which leads in at £5,299pp, include Bermuda, The Azores and Spain.
