From entrepreneurs and content creators to employees representing some of the biggest companies in travel and the smallest, together they form a group that’s varied and diverse. Several of this year’s 30 Under 30 began their careers as young apprentices in travel agencies and have since developed their careers within the travel industry.
Meet the 2025 class
More than 130 young people in the travel industry applied for this year’s TTG 30 Under 30, which is supported by headline partner Tui, and the ITT.
This group of Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders will be invited to a series of networking events throughout the year including dinners with inspirational speakers and social events, plus they’ll be able to take advantage of their complimentary ITT and AWTE annual memberships.
Anyone working in travel who is under the age of 30 can apply – they either nominate themselves or can be put forward by a colleague. A judging panel, made up of TTG staff and former 30 Under 30 members convened in June to view a shortlist of 60 written entries, who all supplied a one-minute video, setting out why they deserved to make the cut.
Daniel Pearce, chief executive, TTG Media, says: “Now in its 12th iteration, we are incredibly proud of the 30 Under 30 family and all its generations, and it’s exciting to meet this latest group, hear more about their personal stories and let them know what we have in store for them.”
Chris Logan, commercial director, Tui UK & Ireland attended the inaugural meeting of the group and he had this to say: “I think the new 30 Under 30 are amazing. Their stories are really humbling. Sometimes you can get in a grind, as you go from board meeting, to steering committees, to training meetings, and this has given me so much energy. I know I’m going to sound cheesy, but it’s been such a positive experience meeting all the 30 and it’s made my week.”
Pearce added: “For the first time this year, we plan to host an alumni event, where we will be extending invites to all those who have ever been named one of TTG’s 30 Under 30, all the way back to 2013 when we launched the programme.”
Former alumni include Bart Quinton-Smith, now director of sales and marketing for Tui UK & Ireland; Martin Johnson, now chair of the Latin America Travel Association and also the Expedition Cruise Network; Jamie Lee Abtar, head of marketing at Not in the Guidebooks.
