Sarah Heduan, who’s been a travel consultant at Not Just Travel for almost seven years, called the session “very informative.”
“I’d not done much training on Tui and had almost avoided it before, but now I can understand and see that customers will really want to book these products,” Heduan added.
“I definitely have customers that are Tui customers, now that I know more about the hotels and the products I’m much more confident in selling them.”
Held at Tui’s Luton headquarters on Wednesday (27 September), the training showcased all of Tui’s portfolio – including Tui Blue, Marella Cruises and Crystal Ski Holidays – to 80 Not Just Travel consultants.
“We know that Tui has holiday options for everyone, and we want to ensure they are available to all customers, including through our trade partners,” said head of trade relations Andrew Isherwood.
“We will continue to build new, and nurture, our existing relationships with our trade partners to better understand how we can continue to support them.”
It comes as part of Tui’s renewed focus on independent agents following years of selling just through its own channels. Just last month, the operator announced it was expanding its trade relations team, creating five new manager roles.
