The group has pledged $20 million to add nearly 1,000 rooms across the resort’s two properties, the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort and Spa and Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort and Spa, a move that will nearly double the resort in size.
As part of the upgrade, the two hotels will gain new sustainability features, while existing amenities will be expanded.
Palladium will also bring its adults-only, all-inclusive brand TRS Hotels brand to the resort, which is currently available across the Caribbean and Europe catering mainly to couples, newlyweds and solo travellers.
“Jamaica holds a special place in Palladium Hotel Group’s global portfolio, and we are confident in Jamaica’s continued tourism potential,” said group president Abel Matutes.
Matutes added: “This development underscores our commitment to supporting Jamaica’s economic growth, providing sustainable employment opportunities, and enhancing the island’s global appeal as a premier tourist destination.”
The expansion will also see the launch of Family Selection, a VIP club that offers families extras and tailor-made experiences.
