On 18th and 19th November, Sirru Fen Fushi will host three of Asia’s leading mixologists from The Nutmeg & Clove (Singapore), Bar High Five (Tokyo, Japan), and Bar Mood (Taipei, Taiwan).
Colin Chia, The Nutmeg & Clove (Singapore)
With 30 years in the F&B industry, Colin holds a reputation as a champion for Asian bars and bartending around the world, famously founding and spearheading the Diageo World Class programme in Asia. Founder of restaurant & cocktail bar Nutmeg & Clove, Chia celebrates Singapore’s history through Modern Singapore Cuisine and a progressive cocktail program, inspired by the island’s evolution colonial outpost to modern metropolis. Each serve tells a distinct story of Singapore’s history, flavours and identity.
Hidetsugu Ueno, Bar High Five (Tokyo, Japan)
Ueno is renowned for his precision and artistry in ice sculpting skills and personalised cocktails. He opened Bar High Five in 2008 in Tokyo’s Ginza district, which since earned itself a position the World’s 50 Best Bars list. Ueno’s influence extends far beyond the East, as he travels the world teaching masterclasses and workshops, inspiring new generations of professionals with his dedication, refined style, and unique approach.
Nick Wu, Bar Mood (Taipei, Taiwan)
Since founding Bar Mood in 2017, Nick Wu has transformed Taiwan’s bar landscape. His inventive, ingredient-driven approach highlights the island’s lush biodiversity through the art of cocktail making. Consistently featured in Asia’s 50 Best Bars list since 2019 and recipient of Asia’s 50 Best Sustainability Award in 2022.
