Its new China’s Grand Dynasties and Yangtze River Cruise tour is already selling fast, with an extra six additional departure dates planned in response to demand. Until 31st July, agents can offer customers up to 15% off on 2027 departures.
The tour has been expertly curated to combine the ultra-modern with the ancient, and the traditional with the futuristic.
Highlights include vibrant Shanghai, the ancient water town of Zhujiajiao, an evening cruise on the Huangpu River, a four-day Yangtse River cruise taking in the spectacular Three Gorges Dam and Xiling Gorge aboard MS Victoria Isabella or MS Victoria Sabrina. Two of the newest and most modern river cruise boats on the Yangtze, Titan guests enjoy an exclusive package that includes higher deck cabins, access to an additional restaurant and an exclusive observation deck, and a nightly happy hour.
Customers will also get access to the rarely-visit ‘Mountain City’ of Chongqing, Chengdu, and Xi’an, home to the world-famous Terracotta Army. Here, customers visit a local workshop to watch craftspeople recreate the figures – and have a chance to make their own – as well as learn how to make traditional dumplings.
Finally, they’ll spend three days in Beijing, where highlights include the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, a traditional tea ceremony and the Great Wall of China, before returning to the UK. Between each location, customers travel aboard China's sleek high-speed trains.
