Quibell and Sellman join the group a fortnight after On the Beach Group confirmed it would be winding down the Classic brand, putting 26 Classic roles at risk.
Quibell, who was Classic's head of trade distribution, joins Specialist as head of trade partnerships, reporting into sales director UK and Ireland Simon Garrido.
Sellman, meanwhile, joins as trade partnerships manager; she will report into Quibell and will work alongside Luke Swarbrook, who occupies a like role with the group.
Specialist Holidays Group said its decision to hire Quibell and Sellman would "underpin the business's plans for trade expansion". "I’m delighted that we’ve been able to move quickly to secure these valuable appointments," said Garrido.
"Jorge and Kim, two respected industry colleagues, bring great knowledge and experience to our trade team. Alongside Luke, we can now fast track our trade strategy and promote our brands more widely with our travel partners. This is a great result for everyone involved."
Both Quibell and Sellman worked at Classic under former chief executive Andy Freeth, who was recently appointed group chief executive of Specialist Holidays Group's new owner TravCorp Holdings.
Quibell brings more than 15 years' industry experience to his new role with Specialist having started his career in travel with Thomas Cook before going on to join If Only's trade team and later Classic Collection.
Sellman began her career in travel as an apprentice and worked her way up to management roles with Bath Travel and Hays Travel. At Classic, her focus was primarily on serving homeworkers selling the brand.
TravCorp recently stepped in and pledged to honour Classic Collection's Junior Hotel Inspector trips for agents.
