The line will operate 10 Caribbean sailings in both winter 2027/28 and 2028/29, including eight 14-night fly-cruises and two repositioning itineraries each season.
Ambassador's fly-cruises will feature direct Virgin Atlantic charter flights from Heathrow and Manchester to Barbados, with airport-to-ship transfers and bonded luggage also included.
The 2027/28 programme runs from 10 November 2027 to 8 April 2028, opening with an 18-night repositioning sailing from Tilbury to Bridgetown.
The programme then includes a series of 14-night itineraries calling in destinations including Antigua, Barbados, Curaçao, Dominica, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Lucia, St Kitts and Tortola.
The following winter follows a similar pattern, with the first sailing departing Tilbury on 29 October 2028. The final repositioning voyage departs Bridgetown on 11 March 2029 arriving in Tilbury on 28 March.
Fares for winter 2027/28 start from £1,999pp, based on two sharing an inside cabin, while 2028/29 fares start from £2,099pp. Both seasons went on sale on Tuesday (29 September).
New programme 'does not replace' no-fly offering
The expansion gives Ambassador an even longer-term Caribbean proposition following the success of its existing fly-cruise programme, which began in October 2025, while retaining its no-fly Caribbean itineraries.
The line decided to offer a fly-cruise programme following its merger with French cruise operator Compagnie Francaise de Croisieres (CFC) in January 2025.
Ambassador unveils debut fly-cruise programme weeks after merger
Chief Executive Christian Verhounig said the additional seasons were added as a result of "clear appetite" for greater choice in the winter months, with the fly-cruise model allowing guests to reach the Caribbean without committing to a longer sailing.
He added the new programmes would "complement rather than replace" Ambassador's no-fly offering.
Renaissance, which carries around 1,100 guests across 629 cabins and suites, will continue to offer its "French-style cruise experience" from Dunkirk and Marseille during the European summer before heading to the Caribbean for the winter season.
"Renaissance offers guests the intimacy of a smaller ship, complete with fewer queues, more time to explore ashore and the high standards of service they have come to expect from Ambassador," added Verhounig.
