Following its three-week makeover in Singapore, the 2,000-passenger Queen Elizabeth ship now boasts a pavilion Wellness Cafe, which debuted in 2024 on Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne.
The venue will serve breakfast, lunch and daytime dining with plant-based cuisine alongside “sustainably sourced” meat, fish and dairy.
Another Queen Anne feature, the Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea programme, offering three-day wellness packages, has been added to Queen Elizabeth.
Public areas including the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Garden Lounge and The Pavilion have been refurbished and outdoor decks revamped, including more sunshades to the aft deck to accommodate warmer Caribbean weather.
The Queens Room has also been redesigned, taking inspiration from the royal tradition of planting Mulberry trees dating to King James I, with its new carpet pattern said to replicate garden shrubbery.
In addition, luxury Grill suites have enhanced interiors and exteriors, with new soft furnishings. The Grills terrace also features new furniture for guests to enjoy sunset cocktails.
Cunard president Katie McAlister said: “As Queen Elizabeth begins this exciting new chapter, we are delighted to offer guests an even more refined experience on board, with beautifully updated spaces that combine classic Cunard style with modern comfort.
“With a full season based in Miami for the first time, more guests from the US and around the world can now experience the Caribbean with Cunard’s unique sense of luxury. The region remains a favourite for travellers on both sides of the Atlantic, and we can’t wait to welcome guests on board.”
Queen Elizabeth will offer a programme of round-trip Caribbean voyages, with itineraries ranging from nine to 28 nights. The inaugural 12-night Caribbean voyage from Miami departs on 16 October. Queen Elizabeth’s debut Alaska season from Seattle begins on 12 June.
