The 3,099-passenger ship, which debuted in 2022, is currently offering sailings from the UK port to Iceland this summer.
However, on Friday (25 July), NCL confirmed the vessel will return to these shores in two years’ time after spending next summer operating seven-day round-trip Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral, US.
Norwegian Prima will finish its European season with three Baltic open-jaw sailings which feature its inaugural turnaround in Helsinki and its maiden call into Riga, Latvia.
Meanwhile, Norwegian Viva – one of Prima’s sister ships – will offer select Caribbean cruises from 18 April 2027 to 16 May 2027 before repositioning to Europe, while Norwegian Aqua will sail week-long Caribbean itineraries from Miami between April and October 2027.
NCL will deploy eight ships across Europe, offering mostly seven-day itineraries that begin and end on weekends.
Guests have the option to sail from 10 embarkation ports including Barcelona, Civitavecchia (Rome), Piraeus (Athens) and Reykjavik.
These voyages spend more than 90% of their time in port with an average stay of nearly 11 hours and feature multiple overnight stays in cities like Istanbul; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Hamburg, Germany, as well as late-night departures from favourites like Santorini, Greece; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Ibiza, Spain.
