Regent Seven Seas’ Paul Beale has been promoted to the newly created dual-branded role, vice president sales UK and Ireland.
He will report into Steve Odell, who was appointed senior vice president international and consumer sales for both the luxury and ultra-luxury cruise brands in March.
Louise Craddock, Oceania’s UK and Ireland sales director, and Ed Lang, the newly promoted Regent Seven Seas’ UK and Ireland sales director, will report into Beale.
In addition, Georgia Lewis has been promoted to Regent Seven Seas’ UK key account manager and will report into Lang.
The brands hope the new joint structure will provide "dual-branded strategic leadership, while also maintaining dedicated Oceania and Regent teams to provide tailored day-to-day support to travel partners".
Odell explained: “This new structure leverages our exceptional talent pool and allows the team to bolster the sharing of best practices, ultimately providing stronger support to our valued travel partners.
"It strategically positions both brands to capitalise on the growing demand for luxury and ultra luxury cruising while showcasing the strengths of our industry-leading team. I am excited to see what Paul and the entire team will achieve.”
The move comes as both cruise lines prepare to welcome new ships: Oceania Allura in July; and Regent’s Seven Seas Prestige in 2026, plus Oceania Cruises’ first "Project Quattro" ship, scheduled for delivery in 2027.
“It is an honour to accept this new role as we enter a very exciting period for both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises,” said Beale.
“Having been in the cruise industry for 24 years — more than half of them with Regent — I can’t wait to work with the sales teams across both brands to propel these two pre-eminent lines within their categories forward, and to help our trade partners grow their luxury and ultra luxury cruise business.”
In July last year, Beale revealed plans to grow Regent’s trade team in line with capacity as the ultra-luxury line expands its fleet over the coming years.
