The By Abercrombie & Kent programme has been designed to extend Crystal’s voyages beyond the ship, offering guests “curated land adventures” before and after their cruises.
These experiences will be available in destinations across Africa, Asia, the South Pacific and the Mediterranean, and can be paired with voyages onboard Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony through 2026.
"We’re redefining what a luxury cruise experience can be," said Cristina Levis, chief executive of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group.
"By Abercrombie & Kent isn’t just any excursion programme – it’s a complete reimagining of how our guests discover the world, combining Crystal’s exceptional onboard hospitality with A&K’s unparalleled destination expertise."
Guests sailing onboard Crystal Serenity, the largest ship in the brand’s fleet, will be able to book tours of Uluru in Australia, Tiananmen Square in Beijing and The Great Wall of China both pre and post-cruise.
There will also be an opportunity to visit the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the Taj Mahal and Ranthambore National Park, the home of India’s Bengal Tiger.
The programme for Crystal Symphony, which is slightly smaller than Serenity at a capacity of 606 passengers, will offer a wider range of land-based excursions.
In addition to those available onboard its sister ship, guests will have the option to explore Serengeti in Tanzania and the Masai Mara in Kenya, as well as Tokyo and Hakone.
Other highlights include its Italian programme, which consists of truffle hunting in Tuscany, a stay in a luxury 11th-century castle and a tour of the Unesco World Heritage site of Pienza.
All logistics, from private charter flights to accommodation, will be managed exclusively by A&K’s local teams. The experiences are also available as part of small group tours or on an individual basis.
