The AmaAcademy Course – The Danube River with AmaWaterways is available to agents through the river cruise line’s travel agent portal on its website.

“Now is the perfect time to launch the second AmaAcademy Course as our travel agent partners are preparing themselves to capture the pent-up demand for travel in 2021 and beyond,” said UK managing director Jamie Loizou.

“We have seen a huge growth in digital engagement from our dedicated travel partners over recent months, whether it be with bespoke virtual trainings, agents joining our regular webinars or our hugely popular virtual cruise events where we work with them to bring to life river cruising for their clients.”

AmaAcademy’s second course, consisting of four lessons, spotlights AmaWaterways’ offerings on the Danube River with details for guests sailing AmaMagna’s “Magna on the Danube” itinerary. 

Agents who make a reservation with a deposit within 90 days of completing the new course qualify for a £25 Love2shop voucher.

The brand will launch three new ships in 2021, including AmaDahlia on the Nile.
