TTG needs your help deciding which suppliers make the TTG Travel Awards shortlist this year – and you could win tickets to join us on the night by taking part!
With almost 250 companies registered to be considered for the TTG Travel Awards 2016, it’s now over to you to decide which companies will make the shortlists in our 17 supplier categories – and to nominate your favourite On The Road Hero.
Designed to recognise the very best tour operators, cruise lines, airlines, tourist boards and other suppliers working with the trade, the TTG Travel Awards involves a robust combination of both agent rating and a judging panel stage to decide the worthy winners.
This year, for the first time, the shortlists will be decided entirely by agent rating, with only the eight best-rated companies in each category progressing to the next stage.
Agents simply need to go to ttgtravelawards.com and follow the link to rate their favourite companies on a scale of 1-5. Agents are asked only to rate a company if they have worked with it in the last year.
TTG editor Pippa Jacks said: “We’re thrilled that so many suppliers have come forward to be considered for the TTG Travel Awards this year, but only travel agents can tell us which of those companies really come up with the goods in terms of supporting the trade.
“Agent rating is therefore pivotal to the entire awards process, and I hope as many agents as possible will spare a few minutes to help ensure the suppliers who give them the best service and the best products make it onto our shortlists.”
The online rating form also includes a box in which agents are asked to nominate their favourite On The Road Hero – the sales representative, account manager or business development manager that does the most to support them. This hotly contested category was introduced for the first time last year, and saw Attraction World’s Nicky Yates named TTG’s first ever On The Road Hero.
The TTG Travel Awards ceremony takes place at London’s Lyceum Theatre – home of The Lion King on Monday September 19, followed by a glamorous after-party across the road at The Savoy.
One agent who completes the rating form online will be drawn from the hat to win a pair of free tickets to attend on the night.
