Attraction World has appointed David McDowell as the ticket specialist’s new head of strategic partnerships.
McDowell joins Attraction World as part of the brand’s new leadership team headed by chief executive Olly Nicholls.
“With over 15 years’ experience, David has been responsible for building and delivering some of the most recognised and successful industry partnerships in the UK,” said Nicholls.
“Having worked for both large global organisations and ambitious private-equity backed start-ups, he is well versed in how soundly modelled and mutually value-driven partnerships drive substantial growth and commercial opportunity.”
McDowell will join head of product Phillipa Standley, head of marketing Neil Langdon and Laura Ayleward-Eade, who is head of finance, as part of a new leadership team at Attraction World.
“Clearly it’s been a challenging time for the industry, but I firmly believe that in 2022 we will see a year of unprecedented demand for travel and experiences,” added McDowell.
“The opportunity to help shape and capitalise on the recovery with our supply and distribution partners, alongside best-in-class technology and a highly experienced team, was too great an opportunity to turn down.”
