Companies House issued a notification on Friday (16 May), confirming "a receiver or manager" had been appointed in relation to Baldwins Travel.
On 7 May Philip Jeffrey Deyes and Frazer Ulrick were appointed as receiver/managers under a tab labelled "Insolvency".

While Abta stressed it had not been notified that the Kent-based miniple had failed, it also stated that customers "with holidays booked should be able to carry on with their travel arrangements as planned".
An Abta spokesperson said: “We have confirmed to Abta members they are able to submit pipeline claims in respect of Baldwins Travel Agency Ltd, a former Abta member, with effect from 15 May.
"As Baldwins is a retail travel agent, customers with holidays booked should be able to carry on with their travel arrangements as planned; they will need to contact their tour operator or travel provider directly. We have not been notified of a failure.
"We are unable to provide any further comment."
A court or a secured creditor may appoint receivers to manage and potentially liquidate the assets of a company to satisfy debts owed to a creditor.
This week, it was confirmed that Baldwins was no longer a member of the Advantage Travel Partnership and had lost its Iata accreditation.
Despite this, Advantage still hosted Baldwins Travel managing director Nick Marks and marketing and commercial manager Tricia Lester at its annual conference in Malta this week.
An Advantage spokesperson said: "It clearly continues to be a very challenging time for the team at Baldwins Travel.
“While we can confirm they are no longer members of Advantage, they have been a valued member for more than three decades, and we welcome Nick [Marks] and Tricia [Lester] to our conference in Malta this week."
It comes just weeks after Baldwins failed in its bid to have its Abta membership reinstated.
Accounts for the 12 months to 30 June 2024 show Baldwins’ turn over in the form of commission reached £22.2 million but with a pre-tax profit of just £153,745. The previous year saw turnover of £21.6 million and profit of £108,270.
No one answered the phone when TTG attempted to contact the head office branch for comment on Friday.
