Robert Smart will take responsibility for the bed bank’s performance across the Irish market.

Smart brings more than 20 years experience in travel having held several managerial roles in sales.

For the past 12 years, he has been working exclusively within the Irish market, most recently with Cassidy Travel Group and Travelport.

His expertise and experience, said the firm upon his appointment, will be key to Bedsonline “consolidating” the bed bank’s strength in Ireland.

Robert’s knowledge of the local travel industry will play a key role in the growth plans Bedsonline has in Ireland after the integration of the three other bed bank businesses to which our company belongs, particularly in terms of product portfolio to help serve both the domestic and inbound client segments.”

Bedsonline’s parent company last year integrated GTA and Tourico Holidays to broaden its product available to travel agency subscribers.
