A teacher turned holiday rental chief has embarked on an ambitious mission to "rebuild the legacy" of Thomas Cook and "rebrand" the package holiday experience.

Tim Kinslow says Don't Just Book It will 'rebuild the legacy' of Thomas Cook

Tim Kinslow has plundered Cook’s famous slogan for inspiration and is now in the process of setting up Don’t Just Book It (DJBI), a sustainable tour operator using third party airlines.

Kinslow, the founder of Bargain Cottages and Leeman Rose Venues, is calling on holidaymakers and former Cook staff to register their interest and help rekindle the “lost legacy” of Thomas Cook.

He insists the venture is more than just a rehash; Kinslow says he is currently in the process of meeting investors, finalising business plans, contacting former Cook staff, and appointing a chief executive.
