Fred Olsen has revealed the first details of new ship Borealis’ sailings from Liverpool, with the ship to sail "almost exclusively" from Merseyside during its 2021 and 2022 programmes.
Borealis’ first cruise will be a six-night Scottish Lochs and Isles sailing, departing Liverpool on 23 April next year. This will be followed by a five-night Irish Capitals and Scottish Scenery itinerary.
Later, Borealis will offer sailings in the Mediterranean, Norway, Iceland and more.
Details of Borealis’ first deployments come after Fred Olsen revealed those for Bolette, the second new ship to join Fred Olsen’s fleet this summer – both from Holland America Line.
Both ships programmes are now on sale.
Borealis will sail almost exclusively from Liverpool in 2021 and 2022, the line has said, taking on existing itineraries for Black Watch, which was retired last month. It will also sail five brand new itineraries.
