The US and Caribbean specialist tour operator’s move has been “inspired” by LGBT Pride Month, which marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots in New York City.
Funway will also use a rainbow logo for all sales and marketing activities throughout June.
Meanwhile, the operator’s monthly deals brochure, Departures, has undergone a “mini makeover” with a Pride theme, including a Holidays with Pride section featuring resorts in California, New Orleans, Canada and Curacao, alongside details of Pride events in those destinations.
Malcolm Davies, Funway product destination manager, said: “Funway Holidays is a big supporter of equality and diversity and wants to offer the right holiday to suit all our holidaymakers.
“We pride ourselves on working with hotels and resorts that are welcoming to all, as well as arranging holidays to destinations that have fantastic LGBT events and nightlife.”
Departures, which is sent to more than 7,000 agents across the UK, offers savings of up to 60% on more than 60 holidays including city breaks and family holidays, with availability for accommodation and flights in 2020.
Prices for holidays from Funway’s Pride section start from £699pp for a seven-night break in Orlando in October 2019, with accommodation at the four-star Sheraton Vistana Resorts Villas and return Virgin Atlantic flights. Deposits start from £99pp.
