The boost comes as the Northern Lights season begins, with the cruise operator expanding the number of passengers it can carry on seven of its vessels.
Hurtigruten said its shore excursion programme would also “gradually return to normal”.
Although most Covid restrictions and infection control measures in Norway have been removed, there are still travel restrictions and quarantine rules in place for some overseas travellers.
For the UK, fully vaccinated travellers – those who have received their second dose at least seven days before travelling – can show their status using the NHS Covid Pass.
Travellers with a valid NHS Pass will not be required to show evidence of a negative test on arrival, be tested at the border or quarantine.
UK travellers without a valid NHS Pass are required to stay in a “suitable location” (such as a hotel or home) for 10 days.
However, a negative PCR test – taken no earlier than three days after entry – will allow travellers to end quarantine early and there are no quarantine requirements for children under 18.
“We are very excited to now have the opportunity to give even more guests the unique experience to sail the Norwegian coast, and let our guests enjoy the wonders of the northern lights under more normal circumstances,” Hurtigruten Norway chief executive Hedda Felin said.
“Safety always comes first, and we keep many of our health and safety in place. At the same time, we can now welcome more guests onboard and can restart even more of our excursions. This is very good news for our guests, local communities, local suppliers and the travel industry along the Norwegian coast,” Felin added.
