Travel 2 have reported a sales boom with a 31% rise in sales to the Maldives and a 10% growth in Dubai, writes Holly Ford.
The strong sales have helped drive growth in both the destinations’ regions, will sales to the Indian Ocean up 20.8% while the Middle East has experienced growth of 8.4%.
To meet the growing demand, Travel 2 has released the Dubai, Arabia, Indian Ocean and Beyond brochure complete with 12 new properties in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Seychelles and Goa.
Nick Hughes, sales director B2B Europe for Gold Medal and Travel 2, said: “Agents have lead the charge to encourage holidaymakers to choose the Middle East and Indian Ocean for their holidays."
