The airline and operator will offer more flights and holidays in October to Verona from Birmingham and Manchester airports, as well as additional hotels in Lake Garda available to book until late October.

As a result of the expansion, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate twice weekly services on Wednesdays and Saturdays from the airports through to the end of October 2023, with flights starting in early May.

It comes following a positive response to Verona being added as a new destination from Newcastle for summer 2023 last year.

Elsewhere, additional hotels now available to book in Lake Garda include Aris Apartments, Villa Nicolli, Hotel Regina Adelaide, Hotel Serenella and Principe di Lazise.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: "We are delighted to be extending the summer 23 season to Verona, and offering more flights and holidays to this popular destination until the end of October from Birmingham and Manchester."
