Stanton joins the business from Fred Olsen after 13 years in post and brings with him 20 years’ travel industry experience.
Bourne Leisure’s Jackie Wilson, meanwhile, has replaced Stanton at Fred Olsen.
Stanton will assume the same tole he held at the cruise line, and has previously worked for Tapestry Holidays.
Mark Warner managing director David Hopkins said Stanton’s “wealth of experience and knowledge” would “help drive the business forward”.
Stanton added: “I simply couldn’t miss such a great opportunity. With the launch of the new Paleros Beach resort in Greece this summer, it’s a very exciting time to be joining this well-loved and well-respected brand.
