It includes a new business insights dashboard, which the agency said "will bring easy access to information that will help agents analyse sales, see departures by month and keep abreast of upcoming customer departures".
Refreshed websites for the PTAs are also set to be introduced "imminently", with a new visual look that leans towards quality and luxury.
The new webpages will be fully responsive for mobile use, contain offers and travel information and a new function on the brand website which will allow new customers to find their local PTA by postcode.
The initiatives were announced during the PTAs’ three-day "Keep Calm and Conquer" conference, which took place virtually between 5 and 7 October.
The event, which was designed to "rebuild agents’ confidence and optimism", was attended by more than 120 industry professionals and has since been made available on catch-up.
A series of virtual workshops were offered, including tips on "Mindset", "Confidence to Sell" and "Connecting with your Customers", as well as practical advice on social media, in-house operator Co-operative Holidays and repackaging.
Business updates were delivered by Sheena Whittle, head of The Personal Travel Agents, and Rad Sofronijevic, Midcounties Co-operative’s Travel Group chief operating officer.
Whittle reported that cancellations have decreased and PTA earnings were on the rise. She claimed sales have grown by 40% in recent weeks since the government’s travel announcements.
Referrals are reportedly up by 25% with social media sales accounting for one in four new bookings.
The 2021 conference was brought to a close with a "Big PTA Kitchen Disco", which saw agents and support staff gathered in their kitchens to celebrate.
A charity raffle, that raised £460 for charities Reubens Retreat, ABTA Lifeline and Go Beyond, saw agents win a range of prizes, from hampers to cases of wine.
Whittle said the messages from the conference "couldn’t have been timed better", after transport secretary Grant Shapps announced a major overhaul of the red list.
"The last 18 months have been brutal, but the PTAs have shown their resilience and adaptability," she added.
"The travel industry is weary, but now is the time to hit the reset button, look forward and start afresh. I’m so proud of the way we have all pulled together, and I know our agents will be rewarded with good times ahead."
