A party of 22 agents, representing the UK and Ireland’s top agencies, will head to the Indian Ocean destination at the end of September for four nights, followed by a three-night stay in the Maldives.
Brad Bennetts, Kuoni’s national sales manager, told TTG the operator’s team had “unanimously” agreed to hold the educational in Sri Lanka to offer a “strong show of support” for the country following the terror attacks.
Agents will be split into four groups on different itineraries.
“The itineraries have been designed to be experiential and not your traditional fam simply visiting multiple hotels each day,” Bennetts said. “We want agents to experience Sri Lanka as a Kuoni customer.”
