The show, which welcomed an international audience of around 300 travel suppliers, buyers, media and commentators, will move across coasts to Los Angeles in 2023.
Event director Simon Mayle said: “I always wanted to build an event in the travel industry focused on the LGBT+ community and Proud Experiences has become that show.”
Mayle added how he believed Proud Experiences had created “a rainbow industry family” which celebrated diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as “providing content from the voices that matter”.
“We are delighted that we will be continuing our journey when we move to Los Angeles in 2023,” he said.
On Proud Experiences leaving New York after two events in the city, Fred Dixon, president and chief executive of NYC & Company, said it had been “an honour” to welcome the event back to Brooklyn.
“With its focus on luxury LGBT+ travel, it is the perfect platform to showcase the universal appeal of New York City as the most popular LGBT+ destination on the planet and we are more committed than ever to supporting and growing this important segment of travellers,” added Dixon.
Next year’s Proud Experiences show will be held at LA’s Fairmont Century Plaza across 5-7 June.
