Tourism and Events Queensland has filmed sections of a yoga class in four Tropical North Queensland locations exclusively for the TTG Digital Destinations Festival programme.
The class leader and yoga guru, Annalisa, travelled from one Queensland location to another via helicopter to ensure attendees discover diverse landscapes during the session.
The full yoga class will be broadcast via Facebook Live next week and is “perfect for beginners”, designed to “promote happiness and help you disconnect, focus your mind and come away feeling revitalised”.
Travel professionals are being encouraged to grab a mat, a bottle of water and tune in at 9.30am on Tuesday 12 May to take part and “follow” the yogi across the Australian state.
As lead partner in the TTG Digital Destinations Festival, Tourism and Events Queensland is also running a training masterclass to educate travel agents about the destination and hosting a fun-filled pub quiz.
The Queensland Facebook Live masterclass will take place on Monday 11 May at 3pm and the Queensland Quiz will start at 4pm on Thursday 14 May.
Attendees at the quiz will have the opportunity to win a £100 John Lewis voucher and a wellness bundle featuring a yoga mat, a towel, a Great Barrier Reef-inspired hand cream, candle and soap from Australian brand Peppermint Grove and a bottle of Mt Uncle Gin from Tropical North Queensland. Plus, 10 runners up will receive a Queensland goody bag.
