TTG Media has launched a new virtual free seminar, offering key advice to support travel professionals during the coronavirus crisis.
Entitled Keep Your Business Alive, the seminar will feature expert speakers and will examine the unprecedented challenges facing the sector, how businesses can best address them, when the upturn is likely to come, and how to ensure your company is ready for it when it does.
Beginning at 2pm on Thursday 9 April, the seminar will begin with presentation examining the state of the industry, by Travel Trade Consultancy director Martin Alcock. He will explore how the Covid-19 crisis has impacted the industry and what this means for the travel landscape in 2020.
At 3pm, there will be a panel discussion entitled Facing the Challenges featuring Abta chief executive Mark Tanzer; Phil Nuttall, chief executive of The Travel Village; and Farina Azam, partner at Kemp Little.
The panel will address the challenges facing the sector, what the government is doing about it, and what else needs to happen for the travel industry to survive the current crisis.
Following this will be a session focused on retaining your clients during the Covid-19 lockdown. Bruce Martin, managing director of Ginger Juice, and Oli Yeates, chief executive of Clicky Media, will offer advice on ways to keep in touch with customers over the coming weeks.
The afternoon will conclude with a Keeping Your Business Alive presentation by Jonathan Wall, managing director of accountancy firm Elman Wall, who will give advice for businesses with furloughed staff, as well as tips on keeping your business active over the coming months.
Daniel Pearce, CEO of TTG Media said: “TTG Media is doing everything it can to support the travel trade through this crisis. This seminar is designed to equip travel businesses with the tools and advice they need to survive the next few months to ensure companies are in the best possible shape for when the upturn comes.”
