The move will allow Riviera to tap into additional on-the-ground resource and offer more support for agents in the republic.

Tom Morgan, Riviera’s head of agency sales UK and Ireland, said the support from Flexi Reps would complement the trade service currently offered by its team of three account manager.

“We are massive fans of travel agents and invest heavily in making sure we have long-term well-established partnerships,” said Morgan.

“Flexi Reps is a great bolt-on service to what we do and will help raise our profile, keep agents regularly up to date on key marketing activity ,and communicate our latest incentives on our fast-expanding product portfolio.”

Flexi Reps was launched in August by former Jet2holidays general manager trade sales Craig Davidson and experienced agent Kelly Freeth, with support from former If Only chief Andy Freeth, now chief executive of JG Travel Group.

It has so far agreed deals with DMC Obeo Travel and Tenerife-based Spring Hotels Group.
