The sister lines said the safety of guests and crews “is always our top priority” and confirmed plans were under way to offer alternative ports.
Guests whose cruises have been impacted by the decision can reschedule their sailings through Royal Caribbean Group’s Cruise with Confidence programme.
Travel agents are also being notified by the brands.
The announcements came as Viking cancelled all 2022 departures of Russian river cruise itineraries and ceased operations in the country for the remainder of the year.
MSC Cruises has also suspended upcoming calls to St Petersburg citing “related security concerns”.
