Royal Caribbean Group chairman and CEO Richard Fain is confirmed for TTG’s next seminar, on Thursday 10 September.
The chief of one of the world’s largest cruise operators will talk to TTG about how the Royal Caribbean Group plans to get back on the map and restore consumer confidence in the sector.
The seminar, titled "How do we get people travelling again", will also include a focus on the potential of airport-testing on arrival to replace the existing 14-day quarantine regime.
Panellists for this session will include George Morgan-Grenville, founder of Red Savannah and leading proponent of the Quash Quarantine campaign; and Advantage Travel Partnership’s CEO Julia Lo-Bue Said.
In a session on stimulating demand for the winter and 2021 meanwhile, speakers including Ash Sofat, CEO of Africa-specialist operator Somak, and Lakh Hayer, founder of Honeymoon Dreams, will discuss how their respective niches are faring, and how they hope to reassure clients and encourage bookings now for travel next year.
TTG’s deputy news editor James Chapple, author of TTG’s weekly Travel Agent Tracker report, will also share insight from six months of data and anecdotal feedback, with a focus on how certain agents are successfully winning business.
The seminar will run from 2pm-5pm and take place on TTG’s event platform. Click here to take a look at the full agenda and speaker line up.
