Royal Demeure is to rebrand to Niquesa Hotels and Residences and has stressed it still plans to expand, looking for hotel growth outside of Italy
From Monday (June 30), Royal Demeure will make the name switch and unveil a new website with details of its six hotels, which includes the flagship Hotel d’Inghilterra in Rome. The group has two other properties in Rome as well as hotels in Florence, Siena and Vicenza.
The new hotel branding will roll out gradually across the hotels in the coming months.
The new name is inherited from chief executive Luigi de Simone Niquesa.
“The launch of Niquesa Hotels and Residences marks the beginning of a new era for the group,” he said. “Alongside the refined corporate and digital face of Niquesa, we are establishing a luxury lifestyle brand that offers exclusive yet warm, welcoming and understated hospitality to a time-poor international client base.”
Much more destination content has been added to the site alongside a range of experiential package ideas and the booking process has been streamlined; the group still offers agents 10% commission on bookings.
Niquesa Hotels & Residences is owned by TDA Capital, a UK-based private investment holding company.
The portfolio includes Niquesa Fine Jewellery and a move is also planned into private aviation, supercar and executive chauffeur services in the near future.
The website will be live from Monday.
