Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America and Antarctica voyages are being cancelled from January as HAL plans to have its full fleet in operation before summer 2022.
Passengers on Oosterdam’s cancelled Australia and New Zealand sailings will be transferred to the same itinerary onboard Noordam in 2023, while those on Noordam’s affected Asia departures in 2022 will be moved to the same itinerary on Westerdam in 2023.
Those on a transatlantic crossing departing 18 April on Westerdam will be moved to a comparable sailing on Nieuw Statendam embarking a day earlier.
Guests on Westerdam’s cancelled South America and Antarctica voyages will be moved to the same itinerary onboard Oosterdam in 2023.
Alternatively, those impacted by the revised schedule can receive a 100% refund.
Westerdam is set to return on 8 May with an Alaskan cruise, Noordam on 14 March in Japan and Oosterdam on 1 May in the Mediterranean.
The ships will join Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam and Zuiderdam which have returned to service or are expected to restart cruising by December 2021. Volendam and Zaandam are set to return in May 2022.
Gus Antorcha, president of Holland America Line, said the line has been working "intensely" to get its fleet back into service.
"Our progressive rollout plan allows us to be back in full service over the next several months and we look forward to welcoming guests on all 11 ships cruising in different regions around the world," he added.
