The “familiarisation tour programme” to Sri Lanka will see selected participants offered flights and accommodation for six nights.
Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) will also arrange meetings with local ground handlers and hotels and other tourism partners “to build business relationships”.
“Trade familiarisation is one of the key promotional activities conducted by SLTPB to promote the destination among potential travellers and companies,” said Madusha Perera, assistant director of marketing for SLTPB.
Operators who are interested in visiting the island are requested to contact trade@slhc-london.co.uk to complete their details on a form before 10 December.
