McShine-Jones has returned to travel after a brief post-Covid break from the industry. He had previously run his own consultancy, Star Tourism, after roles at Tui’s Musement tours and activities arm and running his own franchise as part of Travel Counsellors.
In his new role McShine-Jones will will lead the group’s partnership strategy, working with hotel partners, tourist boards, and tech partners globally to leverage Stuba’s network of travel agents.
He said: "I’m genuinely ecstatic to be back in an industry that I love, one that is very much in my DNA. I am equally excited to have joined Stuba during such a fantastic period of growth and evolution.
“I’m already thoroughly enjoying diving into my new role and look forward to reconnecting with the industry to explore the many tremendous opportunities to work with us."
Alongside McShine-Jones, Lynsey Buntine has recently joined the team as business development manager, with a focus on supporting travel agents in Scotland and North England.
Buntine has previously worked at CWT and as a senior travel consultant at Munro’s Travel.
She said of her new role: "I’m really looking forward to getting out on the road, meeting our agents, and helping them with their accommodation requirements.
"I’m excited to connect with existing partners and bring new agents on board, especially given Stuba’s reputation and longevity."
